FP McCann Rapid Set Backfill Concrete 20kg Ready mix
Rapid set backfill concrete is a high-strength, fast-curing cement mix for quickly repairing excavations around manholes, gullies, and posts, allowing traffic in as little as 90 minutes to 2 hours, minimizing disruption for road and utility works. Products like FP McCann's and offer quick return to service for urgent repairs, providing durable support in depths from a few centimetres up to 250-500mm in one pour.

WHERE & WHEN TO USE.
Ideal for the rapid backfilling of all access cover and gulley reinstatements and for thick section repairs and commercial post installation.
MIXING & WATER GUIDANCE
• FP McCann Rapid Set Backfill Concrete should be mixed using the correct amount of water by using a mechanical mixing method such as a slow speed drill and paddle.
• A 20kg bag of should be added carefully to between 2 and 3 litres of water depending on required workability. Typically, the addition of 2.5L of water per bag results in a slow flowing concrete.
• Mix product for a minimum of 3 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
• Mixed material should be used within 5-10min of mixing. Mixed product will begin to set within 10-15min.
• Adding additional water or trying to revive a mix that has begun to go off will greatly reduce performance.
